Lifestyle
Our priority is to provide a lifestyle which is individual to each resident. We focus on private and dignified care whilst promoting health and social welfare.
Each residents care is documented and regularly reviewed so that it is clear at all times what level of care is being provided. Residents are involved in this process as much or as little as they wish, as the aim is to provide a lifestyle they want and at times and in a manner to suit them.
Fresh meals and refreshments are all provided throughout the day, from breakfast to supper. We have a choice of 3 menus and special diets are catered for including vegetarian. Meal times are flexible and whilst we encourage residents into the dining room to benefit socially, some prefer to eat in their own bedrooms.
We have a variety of activities on offer, such as movies, sing-a-long, bingo, exercise and cooking as well as having regular visits from hairdressers, chiropodists and the local Minister. We have a larger in-house activities throughout the year. Visits to the local area and shopping trips are offered.
More independent residents are encouraged with a hobby, such as gardening. For those who want to simply rest and relax the garden is there to be enjoyed.
