In a coastal location, just 1 mile from Folkestone town centre, Admiral House Residential/EMI care home has a friendly, family atmosphere with peaceful surroundings to enjoy life.
We have a total of 39 bedrooms including 2 twin rooms located over 2 floors. All rooms are individually furnished and personal possessions are welcomed. Some ground floor bedrooms offer easy access to the garden, and with subtle lighting, this can also be enjoyed at night.
All bedrooms have private washing facilities with 14 bedrooms having en-suite and all rooms are located near to a bathroom, which although equipped with aids and adaptions, have been furnished to maintain a homely feel. Private telephone facilities in bedrooms are also provided where requested, payable by the resident.
Two communal rooms all have comfortable seating for residents to use as often or as little as they wish. All rooms are decorated and enhance the warm, relaxed and comfortable ambience.
Stair lifts at the home provide safe and easy access to the upstairs bedrooms as well as a lift to the top floor, again promoting independence and reducing the need to change bedrooms if mobility issues arise.
All areas and systems are regularly checked by appropriate professionals to ensure safety.
